How Category Slots Work
Each plan allows you to upload one bill per category. Once a bill is completed or archived, that category slot becomes available again for a new bill.
Basic Plan (3 slots)
Upload one bill each for Water, Gas, and Electricity simultaneously.
Standard Plan (6 slots)
Add Internet, Phone, and Trash to your available categories.
Full Care Plan (9 slots)
Get complete coverage including Car Payment, Medical, and Rent/Mortgage.
Understanding Our Fee Structure
For Bill Posters
You pay a monthly subscription fee for access to post bills in multiple categories simultaneously:
- • Basic Plan: $5/month (3 categories)
- • Standard Plan: $10/month (6 categories)
- • Full Care Plan: $20/month (9 categories)
No additional fees when posting bills or receiving donations.
For Donors
When you donate to help pay a bill, you pay:
- • Your donation amount (100% to bill)
- • + 5% platform fee
This flat fee covers platform operations and payment processing, regardless of the poster's subscription tier.
Example: If you donate $50 to help someone's water bill, CloakedCare sends the full $50 directly to their merchant to pay their bill on their behalf. You pay $52.50 total ($50 donation + $2.50 platform fee).
Frequently Asked Questions
How does billing work?
You're billed monthly based on your selected plan. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time.
Can I change my plan later?
Yes! You can switch between plans at any time from your dashboard. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Can I upload multiple bills at once?
Yes! You can upload one bill per category based on your plan. For example, with the Standard plan, you could have bills for Water, Gas, Electricity, Internet, Phone, and Trash all active at the same time.
What happens when a bill is paid?
When your bill is fully funded and marked as paid, that category slot becomes available immediately. You can then upload a new bill in that same category.
What if I need help with a bill type not in my plan?
You can upgrade your plan at any time to unlock additional categories. The upgrade takes effect immediately, giving you access to post bills in the new categories.
